Short Of Cash? Debts Piling Up? Ask Yourself "How Can I Earn Extra Income?"

By John Farcikan

Lying in a cold sweat every night, tossing and turning, thinking non-stop 'how can I earn extra income'? Well, you sure aren't the only person! The economic crash is having a nasty impact on everyone, and even multi-million companies are cutting corners to save every cent. Little wonder therefore that the poor man-in-the-street is facing desperate times. Even those lucky enough to be employed find themselves short of cash every month.

Single parents are really being hit by the hard times. Getting a second job is no solution - you're already short of time, juggling yourself between work and the kids. Well, frankly, you're going to have to kick your own butt, get some creative juices flowing, and think of a way to earn extra money in your spare time. Stop asking 'How can I earn extra money?' Get out and do it!

Many single moms, and even some desperate dads, are doing child sitting to earn extra money. There are hundreds of parents in your area who often need a reliable child sitter, so this is definitely something to consider. And you won't feel guilty about not being with your own kids because you'll be earning the extra money in your own home. In time you may be in such demand that you could even find yourself doing child sitting on a full time basis.

If you don't have kids, or you're not very child oriented, what about dog sitting? Seriously, you can do this on Saturdays and Sundays if you've got a full-time job, and earn great money. Good dog sitters are always in demand, and if you're a dog lover you might even be able to extend your services to include grooming and other related services.

Lots of people are earning a regular stream of extra income by doing surveys for marketing companies. All you need do is search for an online survey site, register, and complete a personal profile (they'll ask you about your likes, dislikes, hobbies etc). If you qualify, you'll be sent regular surveys and be well compensated.

The horizons to make extra money are much wider for people without children. But a word of warning - don't get picky about what you are prepared to do, or not do. There's no place for fussiness when the bank balance is in the red.

Remember you're the one who needs the cash and you might have to lower your standards somewhat! For example, don't think that a paper route is just for a kid on a bike. If you've got a vehicle you can earn around $1600 a month on a paper route.
